Faceting Rough
Offered by the piece or parcel, we offer many unusual and exotic varieties for your cutting pleasure, as well as many "old stand-bys". If it something for the begining cutter or the seasoned professional, we have something that will fit the bill. Materials are coming and going every day so please send us your requests.
Terms:
All faceting materials and cut gemstones are sent with a 10 day inspection allowance. Any unaltered items may be returned at the end of that period for a full refund (less postage and handling) or exchange.
Pre-payment is required for new clients. Once established, clients may request shipments on a 10 day memorandum.
Payment by cash, check, Money Order or we can send you an invoice that you can pay on line.
We welcome visits to our shop and are available on an appointment only basis.

Apatite: Neon, Yellow
Beryl: Aquamarine, Emerald, Heliodor, Morganite, Goshenite
Chrome Diopside: 3-10+ carats
Chrysoberyl: Yellow to Yellow Green. for collectors, we have just acquired a small parcel of very small Alexandrite from Brazil
Danburite: Both clear from Mexico and yellow from Tanzania
Feldspar: Labradorite, Moonstone, Sunstone (both clear/yellow and multi color)
Fluorite: Classic Green from California and an interesting peach color from Kenya. Also an unusual parcel of color change rough from Tanzania
Garnet: Pyrope, Malaya, Rhodolite, Mali, Color Change, Tsavorite, Rose Almandine, Umba Valley
Iolite: Fine material from Tanzanite
Kornerupine: Small pieces of this very rare gem
Opal: Mexican cherry opal in a "fanta" orange color. Other colors available
Peridot: Both chunky and tumbled material from Arizona
Phenakite: Clear Russian material
Quartz: Amethyst (Zambian, Brazilian), Citrine (Congo, Brazilian) both a pleasing lighter yellow/orange and fine madeira, Rose (Madagascar), Ametrine (Bolivia). We also have a very unique clear material with hematite flakes (Madagascar) that cut very interesting stones
Ruby: Small, clean material from East Africa
Sapphire: Deep Blue from Nigeria, mixed colors of Montana
Scapolite: Golden yellow material in large chunks from East Africa. Smaller pale yellow material also available
Sphalarite: Very high dispersion
Spinel: Mostly dark hues of purple and blue from East africa. Also some small pink material
Spodumene: Hiddenite and kunzite
Topaz: Colorless, Blue (both Swiss and London), Sherry and Imperial
Tourmaline: Nice pink and rose colored material, greens, bi/tri color and East African Chrome, sunset from East Africa
Zircon: Red/Brown and blue
Zoisite: Tanzanite, natural material in various colors and shades
